The Undergraduate Physiology Students' Association (UPSA) is a student-led group dedicated to supporting current and prospective students in Physiology.

Academic Seminars and Resources

Research Seminars: Learn how to get involved in research, how to find a lab, pathways in 4th year, etc.

PHYSL Courses: Reviews on Physiology courses, information on course breakdown and grading, student perspectives on PHYSL and elective courses.

Laboratory Tours: Speak with PI's and trainees working in the lab and learn about the various techniques/research areas in Physiology.

Future Careers: Learn about various career options after your degree by speaking with Physiology Alumni.


Social Events

Meet-and-Greet BBQ: Connect with peers and professors in Physiology while enjoying a free meal.

Holiday Party: Celebrate the end of the fall semester with a gift exchange, treats, hot apple cider, and holiday music.

Off-Campus Events: Join us off-campus for various activities such as escape rooms, Activate Game Room, skating, and more.

Trivia Nights: Put your science knowledge to the test with other Science students to win prizes.

Other Offerings

Merchandise Sales: Represent your program with Physiology gear including hoodies, lanyards, water bottles, stickers, and more.

Fundraisers: Support UPSA initiatives through various fundraisers including food (Purdys chocolate, Kernels popcorn) and social events (bar nights, pizza nights).

First Year Orientation: Meet the team and our program coordinator while learning about some tips and tricks for success in the Physiology program as you manage your first year.

Graduation: Celebrate the completion of your degree with your peers and professors with a buffet dinner and banquet.
